Carissa Owen - Buti Yoga

Yoga is not simply doing or getting a pose "right." It creates an access to the wisdom of the body, bringing us into the conscious mind. The mat becomes a sanctuary. It is a safe space to gently approach ourselves, releasing and integrating all of the pieces and identities within ourselves.
Carissa believes each individual has to find their own gateway into yoga. Buti Yoga and Rocket helped her to cultivate a daily practice. Both are playful practices, helping each student to focus on strengthening and cultivating their inner teacher as personal medicine. Carissa cannot wait to share these practices and sweat it out on the mat together.
